Jon Edler built this 1/48 P-47 Thunderbolt. Jon used the Tamiya kit with Aeromaster decals of the 405th Fighter Group to depict Lt. Arlie Blood of the 510th Fighter Squadron. |

Jon Edler built this 1/48 Tamiya F4U-1A Corsair. This aircraft is finished in the markings of VMF-214. This aircraft is the one that Boyington stood by in a publicity photo. |

Mike Crandell built this 1/48 P-47 Thunderbolt. Mike re-scribed the entire model and used the prop from the bubbletop kit. He also went the extra mile and added an altered cowl and super-detailed the aircraft with ignition wires, brake lines and retraction struts on the gear. To finish it off, Mike used Superscale decals. |

Jerry Richardson returns with his 1/48 Monogram F-4J Phantom II. Jerry used the Steel Beach F-4J update set to correct the Monogram kit. He used the Hasegawa decal sheet to do his jet in the “Spirit of 76” markings for VMFA-232. |
