Jerry Richardson is back again with his 1/48 Monogram F-14 Tomcat in VF-111 “Sundowners” markings. The finished model looks excellent.

Jerry Richardson returns with his 1/48 Monogram F-18 Hornet in VFA-86 “Sidewinders” markings. Jerry paid extra attention to detail to make his Hornet look right!

Jon Edler built this 1/48 P-47 Thunderbolt. Jon used the Tamiya kit with Aeromaster decals of the 405th Fighter Group to depict Lt. Arlie Blood of the 510th Fighter Squadron.

Jon Edler built this 1/48 FW190D-9. Jon used decals by Eagle Editions to bring this model to life.

Jon Edler built this 1/48 Tamiya F4U-1A Corsair. This aircraft is finished in the markings of VMF-214. This aircraft is the one that Boyington stood by in a publicity photo.

Jon Edler built this 1/48 P-47 Thunderbolt. Jon used Aeromaster decals to depict this aircraft from the 78th Fighter Group.

Mike Crandell built this 1/48 P-47 Thunderbolt. Mike re-scribed the entire model and used the prop from the bubbletop kit. He also went the extra mile and added an altered cowl and super-detailed the aircraft with ignition wires, brake lines and retraction struts on the gear. To finish it off, Mike used Superscale decals.

Mike Crandell built this 1/48 A6M-5 Zero. Mike used the old tool Hasegawa kit and re-scribed the entire kit. He finished it off with the kit decals.

Big update today!

Mike Crandell built this 1/48 Ki-54 “Frank” using the original tool Tamiya kit. Mike tried some new techniques with the finish and hand made the unit insignia. Well done!

Jerry Richardson returns with his 1/48 Monogram F-4C Phantom II in Texas Air National Guard markings. Jerry is the only person I know who can shoot Aircraft Gray and get it to turn out right!

Jerry Richardson returns with his 1/48 Monogram F-4J Phantom II. Jerry used the Steel Beach F-4J update set to correct the Monogram kit. He used the Hasegawa decal sheet to do his jet in the “Spirit of 76” markings for VMFA-232.

Jon Edler built this 1/48 P-47 Thunderbolt. Jon used the Tamiya kit with Aeromaster decals of the 405th Fighter. This is the 2nd of two P-47s that were named “Touch of Texas”.

Mike Crandell built this 1/48 P-47 Thunderbolt. Mike used the Tamiya kit for this build. He also went the extra mile and added an altered cowl and super-detailed the aircraft with ignition wires, brake lines and retraction struts on the gear. To finish it off, Mike’s kit depicts the Group Commanders aircraft, Cpt. Bill Bailey’s “Butch II” from the 353d FG, the “Slybirds”

Jake Weimer is here with his first post. Jake built the Mongram 1/48 EA-6B Prowler. Jake finished off his kit in the Gull Gray and white scheme and used the colorful kit decals to finish off this impressive kit.
